KUDOS, DR. PENNY!
 |
Dr. Christian Penny, a College of Education Associate Professor in Educational Technology has been selected to receive the prestigious Lindback Award for Distinguished Teaching at a WCU faculty recognition event in December. We congratulate Dr. Penny on the extraordinary teaching that earned him this very high honor. In addition to innovative and exciting courses in instructional technology, Dr. Penny also is the instructor of the 21st Century Educator Externship, a course of the Graduate Certificate in Entrepreneurial Education, supported by the 3E Institute. Dr. Penny has been designated an Apple Distinguished Educator; he also is a member of the 3e Advisory Council.
|
K-12 Educators, check out Dr. Penny’s externship and the other exciting courses of the certificate designed for innovative teacher leaders who connect student learning to real world experience. You can still enroll for this summer! Click here!

Look to the Future…Get Ready with 3E
To meet these challenging times, it is important to look ahead. Entrepreneurial Educators are leaders and
visionaries. Look down the road to next year or the next. Ask yourself two questions:
|
In 2-3 years…
1. How will I prepare my students for success in their 21st century lives?
2. Where do I want to be professionally?
|
Become inspired - Take one or two of the six Entrepreneurial Educator courses of the EE Certificate this
summer. They will energize you, challenge you and help you get where you want to be on these two questions.
