2009 3E Forum Honors Innovators, Partners, Champions of Education

We hope you didn’t miss the 7th Annual Business and Leadership Forum at the Union League of Philadelphia on April 16th. The Forum rolled out “better than ever” this year and enthusiastic comments prevailed.
With a crowd of over 260, we honored 65 Educator 500 from 22 school districts and other schools:
Academy in Manayunk, Archdiocese of Philadelphia, Chester County Intermediate Unit, Chichester School District, Colonial School District, Delaware Valley Friends School, Downingtown Area School District, Garnet Valley School District, Great Valley School District, Kennett Consolidated School District, Montgomery County Intermediate Unit, Montgomery School, Phoenixville Area School District, Public Cyber School, , The School District of Philadelphia, Unionville-Chadds Ford School District, West Chester Area School District, West Chester University. 2009 Incubator Seed Grants Sponsored by Lockheed Martin
| Educator 500’s and educators who complete 3E Summer Institutes are eligible to apply for 3E Incubator Seed Grants. The grants range from $250-$2,000 each. Their purpose is to help to start, expand or replicate best practice learning projects, such as those found in the Educator 500 project resource database at www.3einstitute.org. In the past, seed grants helped develop projects in areas such as robotics, local history, cultural diversity, schoolyard habitat and biography. Funds for the seed grants come from private foundations, individuals, companies and the 3e Institute. Recipients and donors are acknowledged at the Forum.
