The Mouse That Roared11/25 01:11 AM

For the past few months I have been searching for a good wireless laptop mouse. On more than one occasion I have added the Logitech VX Revolution to my Amazon shopping cart, but never completed the purchase. Then along came the Kensington SlimBlade™ Bluetooth® Presenter Mouse and I pulled the trigger, getting it delivered overnight no less. It's a laser mouse and presenter all in one. So here are the features:

  • Bluetooth connection - no receiver required
  • Full-featured laser mouse
  • Quickly switch from navigation mode to presentation mode
  • Slim design fits nicely in your hand and slips easily into a pocket or laptop bag
  • Automatically goes into sleep mode when your notebook does
  • PC and Mac compatible
  • 3-month battery life

So it's just what I needed and all for a reasonable $49. I have read that some people have had problems with battery life because the mouse gets switched on in their bag, but so far this has happened to me. I have used the SlimBlade for my regular Ed Tech classes, and also one for a professional presentation. Not being tethered to my laptop at the front of the room is great. Plus having a fully functional mouse to use with my MacBook comes in handy.
